Fellowships and Opportunities

LGS and Emory Fellowships

  • Centennial Scholars Fellowship — The Centennial Scholars Fellowship is given to applicants who have already been accepted to Emory, demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, and will contribute to the development of a richly diverse student body. To be considered for the Centennial Scholars Fellowship, applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who plan to pursue a program of doctoral study
  • Women in Natural Sciences (WiNS) — The WiNS Fellowship Program focuses on issues faced in education and careers in the natural sciences, particularly those faced by women. The fellowship is open to all incoming doctoral scholars—regardless of sex. WiNS fellows join the WiNS Community, also known as Science Forward, a group dedicated to celebrating, promoting, and advancing gender diversity in science. The fellowship aims to unite scholars and advocates working to create a more inclusive and diverse academic environment. Admitted applicants must plan to pursue a doctoral degree in computer science and informatics, mathematics, or physics and must be nominated by their admitted program leadership.
