Laney Graduate School Launches New Teaching Triad Faculty Fellowship

Call for Applications Now Open for Fall 2026 Cohort
Laney Graduate School invites faculty to apply for the inaugural Teaching Triad Faculty Fellowship, a new initiative designed to strengthen graduate education through collaborative teaching, shared mentorship, and cross-disciplinary engagement. The Fall 2026 fellowship will bring together faculty committed to advancing innovative pedagogies and enriching the academic experience of Laney students.
Based on the widely lauded Teaching Squares model (Friedman et al, 2022) that emphasizes reciprocity and self-reflection, this program is the first of its kind at Emory. Fellowship participants will gain insight into a broad range of teaching practices by accessing a resource bank of evidence-based teaching and observation methods and by engaging in an observer-as-learner approach to peer teaching observation.

Applications
- Applications open March 2, 2026, and are due Monday, April 13, 2026
- Accepted applicants will be notified by Monday, May 4, 2026
- Applicants are welcome to apply individually or along with two other LGS faculty they would like to form a teaching triad with using this application link.
Eligibility
- All full-time faculty teaching at least three LGS class sessions in fall 2026 as sole instructor or part of team-taught course
- Commit to reciprocal peer observation of two other fellows during fall 2026, completion of self-reflection exercises, and participation in introductory and closing meetings
- Upon completing the program, submit a one-page reflection describing how you have or will apply one or more teaching strategies you observed to your own teaching
